What age children will most enjoy San Diego Kids Expo and Fair?
Although the products and services can range from birth to 17, all ages can enjoy and learn from the wide range of exhibitors.

 

Where is the event held?
San Diego Kids Expo and Fair will be held at the Del Mar Fair Grounds, located at in Del Mar, California, off the Via De La Valle exit on the Interstate 5 Freeway. The address is 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd., Del Mar, CA 92014.



Besides the ticket price, what else should I expect to pay for?

Parking is $10 per car at the Fairgrounds. All entertainment on the 4 stages is free. Many of the outdoor activities charge a small fee typically ranging from $5-$10. Food is also available.

 

If I buy a pack of tickets for the activities at the Expo or online in advance, can they be used by more than one person?

Yes, any tickets prepaid or purchased at the Expo can be used by anyone including kids and adults.

 

What is the age or weight limits of the activities? Can adults do the activities?

Most activities will accommodate an average size adult but are typically geared towards kids. The most common one is the Zip Line, which has a minimum required weight of 45 lbs and a maximum of 250 lbs.

 

What is there to eat and drink?

We have a full selection of food and drinks including beer and wine for adults over 21.

 

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash and all major credit cards are accepted for ticket sales. Vendors selling their own products will determine their own forms of acceptable payment. ATM's are located in the Exhibit Hall for easy cash withdrawal.



How can you let kids in free and only charge $8 for
adults for an event this big?

Businesses and non-profits all over San Diego pay for this event by renting space at the event, sponsoring portions of the show and donating their products and services.

I want to see a presentation on Saturday and a band on
Sunday. If I go Saturday, do I have to pay again to go
Sunday?

No. Your ticket is good for two days. Be sure to get your hand stamped before you leave.



I saw the Mommy and Daddy Lounges on the floor plan.
What are those for?

This is where moms can go to change a diaper, breast feed or just sit in a massage chair provided by Jerome’s Furniture. Dads got jealous and wanted a lounge too so we made them one.



Can I bring my pet to the Expo?

No. Pets are not allowed (except service animals). Sorry.



Where do I go if I can’t find my child?

Exhibitor check-in, near the entrance.

Will there be another San Diego Kids Expo in the future?

Yes! Every April and October
